Terms & Conditions and Refund Policy
1. Introduction & ScopeThese Terms & Conditions and Refund Policy (“Terms”) govern all bookings, tours, and services provided by Ran-Tong Save And Rescue Elephant Centre.

By making a booking through our website, WhatsApp, email, social media, or any partner platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

These Terms apply to all tours and experiences operated or sold by Ran-Tong Save And Rescue Elephant Centre, unless otherwise stated in writing.

2. Definitions“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our” refers to Ran-Tong Save And Rescue Elephant Centre

“Guest”, “you”, “customer” refers to the person making a booking or participating in a tour

“Tour” / “Program” refers to any half-day or full-day experience offered by the Company
“Booking” refers to a reservation made for a specific tour date and time
“Payment” refers to any payment made to secure a booking
“Refund” refers to the return of funds to the original payment method
“Force Majeure” refers to events beyond reasonable control (see Section 10)

3. Booking & Reservation PolicyA booking is considered confirmed only after payment is successfully completed

Availability is limited and operates on a first-paid, first-confirmed basis
Verbal or written communication without payment does not guarantee a reservation
During high season, availability may change rapidly

Ran-Tong Save And Rescue Elephant Centre reserves the right to refuse, reschedule, or cancel bookings in rare cases due to safety, animal welfare, or operational reasons.

4. Payment Policy

All prices are displayed in Thai Baht (THB) unless stated otherwise
Accepted payment methods are communicated during the booking process

Guests are responsible for providing accurate payment details, including:

  • Payment email
  • Transaction reference
  • Receipt or confirmation screenshot
  • Failure to provide correct payment details may delay refund processing.

5. Pricing & Inclusions

Tour prices include only what is explicitly stated in the program description.

Unless otherwise mentioned, prices do not include:

  • Personal expenses
  • Tips or gratuities
  • Optional add-ons
  • Items not listed as included

Prices may change at any time before booking, but confirmed bookings will not be affected.

6. Cancellation by the Guest

Guests may cancel their booking by contacting Ran-Tong Save And Rescue Elephant Centre via WhatsApp or email.

The cancellation time is determined by the time the written request is received, not when it is sent.

Late arrivals, partial attendance, or early departures are treated as used services and are not refundable.

7. Refund Policy Standard Refund Rules

Refund Processing

Refunds are issued only to the original payment method

To process a refund, guests must provide:

  • Payment email, OR
  • Transaction reference, OR
  • Payment receipt

Refund processing time is typically 3–10 business days, depending on banks and payment providers.
Bank processing times are outside the Company’s control.

Ran-Tong Save And Rescue Elephant Centre does not withhold refunds intentionally and processes all eligible refunds once payment identification is confirmed.

8. Rescheduling Policy

  • Rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours before the tour
  • Rescheduling is subject to availability
  • Only one reschedule per booking may be allowed
  • Rescheduling is not guaranteed during peak or high-demand periods

A rescheduled booking replaces the original booking and follows the same Terms.

9. Cancellation or Changes by the Company

Ran-Tong Save And Rescue Elephant Centre reserves the right to:

  • Modify tour schedules
  • Adjust activities
  • Cancel tours

This may occur due to:

  • Safety concerns
  • Weather conditions
  • Elephant welfare
  • Operational limitations

In such cases, guests will be offered:

  • A rescheduled date, OR
  • A full refund

10. Force Majeure

Force majeure events include but are not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Extreme weather
  • Government restrictions
  • Health emergencies
  • Political unrest

In force majeure situations, Ran-Tong Save And Rescue Elephant Centre may offer:

  • Rescheduling
  • Travel credit
  • Refunds where feasible

Decisions are made in good faith and with safety as the priority.

11. Health, Safety & Participation

  • Guests must disclose relevant medical conditions before participating
  • Participation is at the guest’s own risk
  • Children must be supervised at all times
  • Pregnant guests or those with medical concerns should consult a doctor before booking

Guests must follow all instructions from guides, staff, and mahouts.
Failure to do so may result in removal from the tour without refund for safety reasons.

12. Elephant Welfare & Ethical Policy

  • Elephant welfare is our highest priority
  • Activities may change or be limited based on the elephants’ needs
  • Guests must not disturb, provoke, or disobey staff instructions regarding animals
  • The Company reserves the right to restrict guest interaction for ethical or safety reasons

13. Liability & Insurance

Participation in tours involves inherent risks

Ran-Tong Save And Rescue Elephant Centre is not responsible for:

  • Personal injury caused by guest negligence
  • Loss or damage of personal belongings
  • Guests are strongly advised to have valid travel insurance

14. Communication, Reviews & Disputes

We encourage guests to contact us directly if any issues arise.

We are committed to resolving concerns fairly and professionally before disputes escalate.

Any disputes should be approached in good faith and respectful communication.

15. Privacy & Data Protection

  • Personal data is handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws
  • Payment data is processed securely via third-party providers
  • By booking, guests consent to communication related to their booking

16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand.
Any disputes shall fall under Thai jurisdiction.

17. Updates to These Terms

Ran-Tong Save And Rescue Elephant Centre reserves the right to update these Terms at any time.

The version published on our website at the time of booking applies.
